In my layman?s terms??.?clinical instruction? would be of the nature of a attempted and tested, proven and genuine ?sterile? way of teaching. Direct instruction would be of a more personalized nature taking into account the varying variables that could make the tried and genuine approaches not so correct (which is the way it truly is).
